According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.
The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Features
Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana together with several items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
